Legal review is still required before relying on this policy for compliance (PIPEDA / BC PIPA).

1. Scope and accountability

VERASTUDIOAPPAREL INC. is responsible for personal information under its control. This policy applies to information handled through this website and related business communications. It does not replace a separate agreement that may govern a client or partner engagement.

Our Privacy Officer can be reached at verastudioapparel@gmail.com. The Privacy Officer is responsible for questions, access and correction requests, complaints and our privacy practices.

2. Personal information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide through the contact form, partnership application or direct correspondence. We ask that you do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your inquiry.

  • Identity and business details, such as your name, company or brand name, role, location, product category and sales channels.
  • Contact details, such as your email address, telephone number, WeChat or WhatsApp information.
  • Partnership details, such as website and social links, price range, Asia market presence, requested services and message content.
  • Technical request data generated when the site is used, such as IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, referrer, timestamps and security logs processed by our hosting infrastructure.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including the purposes identified when the information is collected.

  • Responding to inquiries and communicating about potential services or partnerships.
  • Assessing brand readiness, service fit and requested market-entry support.
  • Operating, securing, troubleshooting and improving the website and forms.
  • Maintaining business records, preventing misuse and meeting legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.

4. Consent and business communications

By submitting a form, you consent to our use of the information to review and respond to that request. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, but doing so may prevent us from continuing the requested communication.

A form submission is not consent to receive unrelated marketing. If we send a commercial electronic message subject to Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, we will rely on a valid form of consent, identify the sender and provide an unsubscribe mechanism where required.

5. Cookies and analytics

We do not currently deploy advertising cookies or third-party analytics in the website application. Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data and temporary technical identifiers that are necessary to deliver and protect the site.

If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising technologies or materially different tracking, we will update this policy and provide notice or a consent choice where required.

6. When we disclose information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may provide limited information to service providers that process it for us under their own security and privacy obligations.

  • Vercel, which provides website hosting, content delivery and serverless processing.
  • Resend and our email provider, which transmit form submissions and business replies.
  • Professional advisers or contractors who need the information to support our business and are required to protect it.
  • Government, regulatory, law-enforcement or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security.

7. Processing outside Canada

Some service providers may process or store information outside British Columbia or Canada, including in the United States. Information in another jurisdiction may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement or national-security authorities under that jurisdiction's laws. We use reputable providers and limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the service.

8. Retention and disposal

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain appropriate business records, and to satisfy legal, accounting, dispute-resolution or security requirements. Retention depends on the nature of the inquiry and whether a business relationship develops.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or anonymize it. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal system processes.

9. Security safeguards

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access restrictions, secure transport, protected environment secrets and service-provider controls. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe information submitted through this site has been misused or exposed, contact verastudioapparel@gmail.com promptly.

10. Your privacy rights

You may write to verastudioapparel@gmail.com to request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, withdraw consent, or raise a concern about our practices. We may need to verify your identity and may withhold information where an applicable law permits or requires it.

If we cannot resolve a privacy concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia. These regulators determine whether and how a complaint falls within their jurisdiction.

11. Children and third-party links

This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request deletion.

Links to third-party websites or platforms are governed by those parties' privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content, security or personal-information handling.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, providers or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. We will provide additional notice or seek consent if a material change requires it.
